Shoalhaven Heads Pump Track - Funding for Sealing - Received
The Shoalhaven Heads community built Pump Track opened on 16 June as an unsealed track and has surpassed all expectations of use and popularity from locals and visitors up and down the South Coast who are coming to Shoalhaven Heads on a regular basis to use the track, the first of its type on the NSW South Coast. Overwhelming community support to seal the track was evidenced in the recently completed (4 August) Council survey and approval to seal is now in place. It is now urgent to raise the funds to seal the track to ensure its sustainability as a safe and low maintenance track.
We the undersigned call on Shoalhaven City Council along with our State and Federal Members to work together to secure $40,000 to enable the local community to seal the Heads Pump Track and expand its amenity and ensure the safety for local and visiting children and families as soon as possible.
